Instead of using laptops, loops and programmed backing tracks, the band uses live instrumentation and a slew of miscellaneous instruments to achieve an electronic sound that is truly one-of-a-kind. Holy Fuck are long time veterans of SXSW, and have also entertained audiences at Coachella, Lollapalooza, CMJ, and Glastonbury. Their debut album was named one of the Montreal Mirror's top ten albums of 2005, while their second album was nominated for the Polaris Music Prize.
