Firefighters expanded evacuation orders in El Dorado County on Tuesday as the Mosquito Fire erupted once again, quickly growing a second pyrocumulus cloud that is capable of throwing embers and other flames hundreds of feet from the original fire. By Tuesday night, the fire had burned more than 50,000 acres.
