Student protesters break into a dance during the standoff...Participating in the March 4th National Day of Action for Public, hundreds of UC Davis students protester marched off campus and blocked the intersection of La Rue Road and Russel Boulevard. Similar protests occurred in many schools and colleges around the Nation in response to additional budget cuts to education, layoffs, and raising tuitiion.
