Bay Area Vaccine Hunters

A portrait of the husband and wife team, Abhishek and Pooja Daryani, Founders of Bay area vaccine hunters. This platform is helping prevent COVID-19 Vaccines from going to waste. It has mobilized over 14,000 vaccine hunters to help connect those seeking a COVID-19 vaccine with health centers and pharmacies in the Bay Area with doses to spare. Moreover, this grassroots organization has supported community members in overcoming obstacles including language barriers, computer illiteracy, and work schedule constraints that prevent them from booking their appointments, and members of the group volunteer to refresh booking websites and make calls for other members who are unable to do so.
